Archeology

The Archeology skill is a Knowledge Specialization skill characters can earn XP in. A character’s Archeology skill represents their ability to locate, excavate, or study archeological finds. Characters with high Archeology typically can find potential excavation sites with ease and gather even the most delicate of fossils without further damaging them. 

Archeology includes a variety of activities such as: looking for potential excavation sites, excavating artifacts and fossils, and preserving or reconstructing fossils. Archeology does not include historical knowledge of the artifacts or fossils they find as that would be under the History skill or the Zoology skill.
