Atali-Ka
Atali-Ka is a straight forward game. Dice are rolled and bets are made to guess what will be rolled. There are two forms in which to play the game. There’s the original version that was believed to have been developed by sailors performing long voyages that were in need of entertainment.
Original Version
The original version is at least two, if not more, people guess a number between five and thirty. Then each player rolls five dice simultaneously and add up they dice they had rolled themselves. The numbers that each player guessed are compared to the number of the player with the highest total. Whoever had the closest guess wins. If any player rolls a thirty, they instantly win and traditionally shout out “Atali!” If an instant winner had guessed thirty, they win double the amount that had been bet. If someone guesses thirty and somebody else rolls Atali, they only lose their initial bet and don’t have to pay double.
Coincidentally, if someone rolls a total of five, they instantly lose even if their number was the closest guess. If an instant loser had guessed five then they automatically win instead. If someone guessed five and somebody else instantly loses, that person receives double the amount that had been bet from the instant loser.
Gambling Den Version
In a gambling facility, the game runner is the only person with a set of dice to roll. Players can take bets based on many different things. From the specific number, to a number range, odds vs. evens, three of a kind, four number streaks, etc. Usually, there is a mat or table with all the different types of bets marked on it. Players place their coins (or whatever is used to represent their coins) on any of the squares they wish to bet on, and set a token of some sort to identify that it was their bet.
Each different type of bet has different pay-outs which are based on the odds of that sort of roll happening. Some squares have a significantly higher payout compared to others.

Roleplay Winnings and Moderation
Whether a PC is playing the original version of Atali-Ka, or the Gambling Den version, they are permitted to freely acquire any net loss, or a net gain that is less than 1 Gold. It is still up to the graders to determine what changes to a PC’s ledger may occur. Any winnings that are greater than 1 Gold in value require a few things. First, the PC must state what bets their character has made. Then they must make a roll in the discord channel Dice-Rolling. If any of the PC’s bets have a high payoff, and are rolled, a Moderator must verify and approve of any winnings.
