Fisher’s Market
Avakaron is a Sea based city, and some of the main products of teh city come from the ocean. From fresh catches of the day, to crafted items coming directly from the ocean’s bounty. While personal and family shops and stores are common in Avakaron, reducing the need for open markets, the freshness of fish that comes from an open air, early morning, market is sought after by the people.
While sea based products are the main attraction of the Fisher’s Market in the city, any and all products can be sold here, as long as the seller has ample space to display their wares – from a full stall, to a table, to a tarp on the sand – anyone is welcome.
The Fisher’s market takes place every morning, starting right at dawn most days, and ends in the mid to late morning when most of the sellers go off to their main jobs. The number of sellers and customers vary every day, and the wares vary as well. One can find something new each morning.
The Fisher’s Market is located at the Docks, covering as much of the wooden habor as possible before spilling over onto the sands of the upper beach. The smells of the ocean are strong as the catches of the morning are dispayed on the surface. The freshest catches are the most sought after by high skilled chefs for their resturants or for special occasions, but tend to be the most expensive.
Wares can vary, and Prices follow the Price List. PCs can sell their wares at this location for free as long as they set up a space of some kind.
