Genarc Hall
One of the newest buildings on the campus, Genarc Hall accommodates to magic studies not found in the other buildings. The first room is dedicated to the instruction of Warding. This room is located on the far north end of the longhouse. Inside is completely empty save for a few sconces along the walls incase lessons progress into the night. Teachings of Runistics takes place in the adjacent classroom inside the longhouse. Unlike the other teaching rooms that have a raised stage, the center of the room is left bare so larger runes can be designed for demonstration. Tables rest against the walls where students practice their teachings.
The third and final room of the longhouse is large enough that it could have been two rooms. Instead, it has become what is known as the Practical Applications Chamber. In the dirt floor there is a large circle outlined with stone that is forty feet in diameter. Inside the circle is where students, and on rare occasions people with more official standing, come to practice their spells against each other or settle disputes.
Spells Taught
NPC Instructors
Some, though not all classes, require more than one instructor to be present. A single instructor is expected to be able to handle teaching up to five students in one lesson. If the number of students exceeds five, or if the day’s lesson is expected to be complex or dangerous, then one or more adjunct instructors are present to assist in handling the lesson. Some instructors fill multiple roles. They could be one of the primary instructors for one spell and serve as an adjunct instructor in one or more other spells.
At this time, players are welcome to develop NPC instructors for this location and submitting them in the NPC Request forum.
