Riding
The Riding skill is a Knowledge Specialization skill characters can earn XP in. A character’s Riding skill represents their ability to directly ride a creature. Characters who have a high Riding skill typically can ride animals with grace and through even the toughest of terrains or dangers.
Riding encompasses a few activities such as: preparing an animal to be ridden, leading and steering the animal, or mounting and riding the creature. Riding is specific to the technique of remaining on the animal and steering it and does not include performing tricks on said creature like acrobatic riders as this would be under the Dexterity skill.
Riding is split up into several categories. When listing Riding as a skill, please list the specific categories you have chosen to learn as well as the name of the skill (e.x. Riding (Equestrian, Canine)).
Below is the list of the current available Riding Categories, note that some of these animals would have to be a Dire version, and/or do not currently exist. See Spirit Moderators for more information.

| Exotic | Exotic Fauna that cannot be easily put into one of the other categories or has a category on its own. See the Exotic Fauna list for an exotic creatures’ specific riding category. |
