The Change Days

On the 87th day of Spring in the year that would henceforth be named Zero, The Change Days Begun. The day began like any other on Siliren, the sun rose and the Humans woke and began their daily routines. Yet near the 10th hour of the day a massive force shook the world, felt around the globe by every living thing on Siliren. Deep within the desert to the west a enormous and magical portal opened, changing the world in that every instant. With the appearance of the portal, a magical thing of immense power, the world was plunged into chaos. Earthquakes broke the land apart and volcanic eruptions fused it back together as well as simultaneously creating new land within the ocean. Massive tidal waves rocked the shores and permanently submerged whole civilizations. Magical energy erupted from the portal and scorched the land. Many animals died, unable to handle the power that ripped through their bodies, plants withered. Some animals and plants mutated from the magic and were forever changed. When the Change Days ended, Siliren was a like a new world in itself.

The Change Days last five total days, during which the sentient races of Anore were teleported through the portal from their dying world to Siliren. They were guided by their Gods through the portal of Rigen. They came spewing out of the portal slowly, in a panic about their dying world of Anore. They were met on the other side with nothing but confusion. At first the Anorians milled around the desert they were in, waiting for the rest of the planet’s population to come and the portal to close. However it was not long until the natives of Siliren, the Humans, came to investigate the source of destruction that had suddenly popped up out of nowhere.

The Humans, seeing what appeared to them as monsters, and a first outnumbered the Anorians, began an assault upon the newcomers. The Humans had their primitive weaponry and numbers in the beginning, where the Anorians were still growing and had no supplies or knowledge whatsoever. So it seemed that the Humans might have the upper hand. However this changed after five days, when the portal closed and The Change Days Ended where the Universe War began.
