Seasons
The year of Siliren is broken up into four different seasons. These four seasons are Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Each season is approximately three real-life months-long – though be aware that months do not exist in Siliren. Characters can use weeks and fortnights to describe time, though, along with seaons.
The beginning of the year corresponds with the real-life date of March 1st. The month of March, April and May form the 92 days that make up the Spring Season. Therefore it is important to understand that when the real-life year changes on January first, the Siliren year stays the same until March 1st. From there the next three months; June, July, and August, make up the Summer season of 92 days. September, October, and November are the Fall season, a total of 91 days, and finally, Winter takes place during December, January, and February and is 90 days long.
Similar to the Northern Hemisphere of Earth, the Summer season is the hottest on Siliren and the Winter the coldest. The temperatures, of course, range in severity across different regions – but all regions face their coldest temperatures in Winter and hottest temperatures in Summer.
