Zoology

The Zoology skill is a Knowledge Specialization skill characters can earn XP in. A character’s Zoology skill represents their knowledge on the animal kingdom and the specific fauna within it. Characters who have a high Zoology skill typically are biologists or animal enthusiasts who know a significant amount about the ecosystems certain animals take part in and of the specifics of each animal’s particular biology and evolutionary history.

 
Zoology encompasses a few activities such as: studying animal anatomy, studying the evolutionary history of certain fauna, studying the ecosystem and food chain, etc. Zoology does not include caring for or taming an animal directly as this would be Husbandry.
