Issias

History

In the very beginning, before The Change Days, before the Domain War before Anore even existed, Issias and her twin brother, Cheon, began to gather fellow deities for the ultimate goal of creating a planet. As the original founders of Anore they claimed they did not rule over their fellow creators. However when the Domain War began it was Issias who first recognized the fantastic death to their creations the war was causing and it was she who brought in Cheon and the others together to save their people. Issias enlightened Nilata and she too joined the twins in their plan of redemption. Now ruling over Siliren, Issias, Cheon and Nilata rule over the other Gods and Goddesses as well. They serve as the peacekeepers and the checks and balances between both Siliren and its creators.

Issias lost the most in the destruction of Anore. As the Goddess of Life she personally felt the death of the planet and it nearly destroyed her as well. The portal created to save the Anorians, unfortunately, could only save the races of Anore and had to leave the animals, Issias’ creations, behind to die. And while Issias’ was loving enough to take Siliren’s existing and mutated animals under her domain, it is said she still mourns for her natural children.

Domain

Issias is the Goddess of Life and Animals. She blesses life to plants, animals and beings and works closely with the Fertility Goddess, Angtas, to create life, as well as Cheon, God of Death, to take life away. Although Issias understand the need for balance between life and death, death itself effects the Goddess deeply with every occurrence. She is known to mourn the simple plant at its wilting to the greatest beast during its final moments.

She is also the watcher of the animals of the world. Although she lost most of her creations with the destruction of Anore, she happily adopted the new creatures found on Siliren. She frequently takes offense at those who disrespect that nature of animals, though understands the natural cycle of predator and prey.

Interaction

Issias is known as one of the most commonly seen Gods, as she seems to enjoy walking through Siliren, spending time with those who are living life to the fullest. She enjoys posing as caretakers or nurses to be able to spend time with those who are in their last hours. She is extremely personable and one may not realize she is a Divine Being until she reveals it to them.

Religion

Issias is probably the most adored God out of the twenty seven. She is the bringer of life and is worshiped by nearly every Anorian and Anored Human on Siliren. She has numerous followers and the most devotees compared to her partners. A place of worship dedicated to Issias can be found in nearly every populated city and village.
