Rakar
God of War and Strength
History:
Although Rakar was not the initiator of the Domain War, he was a supporter and enthusiast of it. War being his Domain, Rakar grew stronger as it waged on. When Issias attempted to stop the fighting of her fellow creators, Rakar was the last of the twenty seven Gods to be persuaded to end it. He had little to do with the actual moving of the Anorians from Anore to Siliren, however it was after the Change Days where Rakar stepped in to help his people. When it was clear the Humans would not take the invasion quietly and the plot of eradicating Humans was rejected by the Gods, Rakar reveled once again at the prospect of war. However it soon became clear that the Anorians were losing as the new world confused them. Rakar, ashamed at the lack of strength the Anorians were showing, despite their overwhelming numbers, the God of War and Strength stepped in, alongside Nilata Goddess of Magic and Rigen, to teach the Anorians the way of war in this new world. This aid from the Gods swiftly led the Anorians to victory, solidifying their place in the new world.
Domain:
As the God of War, Rakar introduced large scale fighting to the world of Anore. Although some may find this a negative aspect of the world, the Gods respect balance, positive and negative aspects are required for a balanced world. When Cimese, Goddess of Unity, reigned over Anore, war was much less prevalent. After her death during the Domain War, Rakar has enjoyed more frequent warring on Siliren, and thus grown more significant.
As the God of Strength, Rakar values the physical and even mental strength of people. Through practice, dedication and willpower, Rakar attempts to encourage all to be strong in their lives.
Interaction:
The Universe War was the only war in both Anore and Siliren history in which Rakar blatantly took a side. Although he introduced war to the world, he does not meddle in the warring affairs of the earth. Though he quite enjoys it and sometimes joins in on the fun, disguised as a mortal, often cutting down both sides in the fight. As for his Domain of strength, Rakar often favors those that show extreme strength in their lives or dedicate themselves to the action of strength. It is not uncommon for him to present himself to those types of people.
Religion:
Followers of Rakar look to him as a guide and model to follow. They understand the importance to gain physical strength themselves, without magical aid. Those seeking mental strength ask him for blessings and advice. Soldiers heading to war also ask for the blessing of Rakar, though he does not often give such.
