The One God
The One God
Only Gods can create planets and worlds, and so a God created Siliren. In the world’s early days, the God was active and present. He created the Humans and the flora and fauna of the planet. The Humans rose to prominence and discovered their God. He was worshipped by the people and believed in.
Somewhere along the way, though, theGod abandoned Siliren, leaving the world to fend for itself. There is no record of evidence of a precise time the world was left by its creator, but Siliren was left without a God to rule.
Without this guidence, the world would fall to ruin. Over and over again would Siliren be destroyed from within, only to rise back up, before falling once more. Still, though, the Humans kept their God in their thoughts, refusing to believe He had left them.
Eventually, the Anorian Gods came across the abandoned world and claimed it for themselves and their people. These Gods and Goddesses became the rulers of Siliren and began to impact it in ways unique to them. But still, the memory of The One God did not fade from the minds of the Humans.
While it is a well known fact – at least among the Anorians and Hellbends – that the original God of Siliren was long gone, the Humans refused to accept this. While their beliefs differ from Human to Human, most Humans still hold onto the hope that their God has not failed them.
The most extreme believers believe that The One God still rules over Siliren and that the Anorian Gods and Goddesses simply don’t exist. They believe that no other God exists in the universe besides their own. They believe that the Anorian people are daemons of some sort, sent to dismantle their belief in The One God and drive them to evil. These people tend to also believe that Rigen is an evil magic, and do practice the art of Rigenology is a sin against The One God.
Some believers see the Anorian Gods as invaders of their world and believe that The One God is battling in the heavens to take back his world from these enemies. They believe the Anorians are enemies of their God as well, and Rigen is a foreign and evil magic. Some of these believers think that Rigen, while evil, can be used to aid their God against the Anorian invaders. Others think that the Anorians are simply beings that came with the Anorian Gods and Goddesses and have no say in the will of the celestial realm. These people are more willing to contact the Anorians and Hellbends, and attempt to convert them to worship The One God.
There are still some who believe that the Anorian Gods and Goddesses defeated The One God and took over the world of Siliren. Some of these people believe that The One God will be back to reclaim his world, while others accept that he is gone for good. Their views on the Anorian people and Rigen tend to vary, from fear of evil, to attempting to convert, to full acceptance.
The similarity between these believers is that they all reject, in one way or the other, the Anorian Gods and Goddesses. Humans who don’t reject them, and instead accept their place as Siliren’s rulers, are called Anored Humans.
