Irtin
God of Healing & Health
History
Ruling over Anore, Irtin, God of Healing and Health, created a robust world where all living things often lived to their full capacity. During the Domain War, Irtin was quickly called into the fight against Moroth, God of Fire, Chaos and Anger, and Osgartur, God of Disease and Poison. He fought side by side with Cimese, Goddess of Culture, Unity and Heritage. When Cimese quickly fell, Irtin, too, removed himself from the war to attempt to revive the Goddess. When his attempts failed, he rejoined the war with a new vigor. That was, until the second God fell and he dropped out once more. But his attempted failed again and the God was lost. This time Irtin did not rejoin the war, but it was almost over anyway. Issias and Cheon were already turning most of the Gods to their reason. Irtin joined happily, ready to heal Anore – but even he could not fix the decimated planet. It seemed, to Irtin, that he could not heal anything he tried.
Irtin had no hand in the Rigen portal that saved the lives of Anore. But when Citah fell after the portal closed, Irtin saw this as a chance to redeem himself, and save the God where he failed the others. Yet the task was not easy and he threw himself into it. While he did manage to wake Citah up, the God is still weak and Irtin devotes the vast majority of his time to the task.
Domain
Irtin’s domain is that of Healing and Health. On Anore the world was full of advanced medical technologies as well as healing spells. However with his lack of interaction on Siliren due to his attention on Citah, the art of healing is primitive. Disease and plight can easily ravage groups of life. Recently, Irtin has turned to a few disciples on Siliren to attempt keep order within his domain.
Interaction
Irtin’s interaction with the world of Siliren is sparse. While his power runs through the planet, he only turns his gaze to Siliren to look for followers that could aid in his burden. A few times in history he has presented himself on the earth, these historic moments are few and little is known about their purpose.
Religion
There are many citizens of Siliren who continue to worship Irtin despite his absence. Practitioners of healing follow him and often result in prayer to aid in their healing. There are some societies as well who consider Irtin their main God.
