Military District
Lysium, the bustling city that it is, is divided into three distinct districts. The first and largest among these is the Military District, which is the first area a newcomer encounters after passing through the main gates of the city. This district is populated mainly with small homes and shops owned by the affluent-enough residents who prefer the comfort of living within the city walls. It is also the hub of all military-related buildings, which gives it its name.
M1A-C Kadin Barracks: The Kadin Barracks home the military personnel stations within Lysium. There are three buildings that make up the barracks.
M2 Military Academy: The Military academy, located near the wall of Lysium, serves as the training location for the newer soldiers before they are stationed.
M3 Church of the One God: An old run-down church that serves as a place of worship for the Old God.
M4A-D City House Flats: Government-owned, affordable in-city apartments. Four buildings in total, six different floor plans, and prices.
Lions Refuge: Tavern filled with pretty women and decent beer. Mostly populated with military troops and travellers.
Public District
Lysium’s Public District lies between the Military District and the Government District, and boasts of a diverse range of establishments. This section is home to some of the most prominent shops in the city, including those of skilled artisans. The district’s centerpiece is the famed farmers market, which rotates to different parts of the district periodically. Additionally, the Public District houses the prestigious Minting Factory of Lysium, where the city’s coins are produced.
P1 Farmers Market: A rotating number of stalls that set up shop in the large open square nearly every day. The stalls always sell farm to table goods.
P2 The Round Observatory: A great observatory funded by the Minting Factory of Lysium as a gift to the city. Open and free to the public.
P4 The Polling Place: A long, rectangular building that serves as both the election poll location on an annual basis and the postal office on a daily basis.
P7 Gilded Metals: A weaponsmith shop and forge that sells basic weapons as well as custom orders specalizies in jewels and other fine materials.
The Ironclad Quarters: These are modest & historic apartments located in the Public District of Lysium, mainly occupied by workers in the city’s factories and artisan shops.
Government District
The Government District is the smallest among the three districts in Lysium, and is exclusively reserved for government operations. All government buildings are located in this district and it is strictly guarded by the Lysium Military, with citizens requiring an official reason to enter. In addition to government buildings, the district is also home to houses of high-ranking government and military officials, adding to its exclusive and prestigious reputation.
G1 The Council Three Chambers: Located at the head of the Government District is the government chambers for the Council of Three that rule over Lysium.
Ivory Tower: This is a prestigious apartment complex located in the heart of the Government District of Lysium. It is one of the most expensive rental options in the city.
Outer Banks
Lysium’s bustling city life extends beyond the protective walls that enclose the Military, Public, and Government districts. The city’s outskirts are home to a myriad of small businesses, shops, and houses that stretch from the walls of the city all the way to the Glancing Giant Lake. The Lysium Docks, situated on the banks of the lake, are a hub of activity for trade and fishing. Whether it’s a small family-owned store or a bustling marketplace, life thrives beyond the city walls, making Lysium a vibrant and bustling community.
D1A-C Outer Stables: Horse stables located directly outside the main gates of Lysium. Permanent and temporary horse stabling available.
GD1-4 Glancing Giant Docks: A collection of four docks that jut into the Glancing Giant Lake and docks the many fishermen boats and shipping containers.
D5A-P Giant’s Fingers Neighborhood: A set of single person and single-family homes that can be rented. Only affordable rental locations in the Outer Banks.
The Stormy Wyrm: Hidden in a backstreet of the Outer Banks, this tavern doubles as a place where mercenaries can get leads on jobs within the city.
