Appearance
Fieula is 6 feet tall and 190 lbs, making her small for a Hellbend female. Her skin is a pale red, almost pink, color and her eyes a scarlet red. Her horns curve back over her scalp and are longer than average. Silver chains with ruby attachments are interwoven through her horns that connect to her earrings and necklace. She is often seen wearing loose, flowy dresses that expose a lot of skin. Most of which are black or dark hues of green, blue, and purple. Her figure would be considered attractive by both human and Hellbend standards. And though she displays no interest in engaging in romantic affairs, she often seems curious for gossip.
Personality
Due to being bullied by her own community as a child, Fieula has more interest in humans than Hellbends. There is a strong resentment towards her own family and everyone she interacted with frequently as a child. At the same time, a deep sadness comes from those that she wants to love, but cannot forgive, declaring her an outcast for taking so much interest in human affairs. Fieula attempts to disguise her sorrow with a sultry, confident display. To distract herself, she works at becoming an important figure within the Ministry of Casters. As well as being involved or acquainted with the rest of the Hellbend community, particularly at the docks.
Background
Fieula is the second child of four and the only daughter. Since she was young, she was teased for her small size, especially by other girls. While her mother would create unique and lovely bits of jewelry for Fieula to wear, they would often be stolen or broken by the other girls. Her father wanted her to learn ways to protect herself, but her mother would forbid the learning of any weapon. Instead, her father enrolled her into classes with the Ministry. Her first spell was telekinesis, which Fieula quickly learned and progressed in. She used this spell to defend herself from the other girls, and to compensate for her lack of size.
While apprenticing at her mother’s jewelry shop, Fieula kept attending classes at the Ministry. She learned Lumenmancy and Umbramancy more quickly than she had with telekinesis. This got the attention of a few of the higher officials within the Ministry. By the time she was twenty, she had become an expert in three spells and was approached by the Ministry of Casters. They offered her a position as a co-instructor, which she took to her mother’s dismay. After a few years, she became the primary instructor for Umbramancy after her predecessor’s retirement.
During her time off, she is often seen in the areas of Avakaron that humans reside in, or down at the docks using her magic to assist in unloading cargo. Since her teenage years, she would engage in conversation with humans to learn their language and their customs. Though many humans found her physical appearance unnerving, Fieula found she preferred human interaction over that of her fellow Hellbends, especially among the human women.
